A Great Beef and Cheesy Pull-Apart Bread!

I am a big fan of savory and sweet pull-apart dishes. This is a Great Beef and Cheesy Pull-Apart Bread recipe that will be a big hit and something different for your upcoming Super Bowl party. I have been seeing savory and sweet versions of pull-apart dishes for a while using either bunt pans or springform pans. I am using a springform pan in this recipe. You may notice that the ingredients might remind you of poutine (cheese curds and gravy). (Check here for my version of a poutine dish)

Why Poutine? The only additional ingredients you should add to make a true Poutine would be some type of french fries or maybe tater tots. Next time I will try throwing in some tots to this recipe. The main problem for me is that I like my potatoes (ie. any type of potato or fries) to be crisp. I’m not sure that could be achieved with this type of dish. But it sounds good, right?

I am using pizza dough for the bread aspect of this dish. To make it easy, I picked up some pre-made pizza at my local grocery store. Sometimes your favorite pizza place will sell you a dough ball. I got mine at Trader Joe’s. I then cut the large dough ball into smaller balls. These smaller balls cook up to be the pull-apart aspect of the dish. Roll the small balls until they are fairly rounded. Don’t overwork the dough. I dusted them with flour and then let them sit for about 15 minutes so the dough would relax a bit.

Took my pizza ball and cut it into small balls

For the meat aspect, I used very thin slices of rib eye that you can get at your local Asian Market for dishes like bulgogi and hot pots.

Placed a ramekin upside down when I cooked the dish and reversed it when it was ready to serve

You can see from the pictures above that when dusting the dough balls with flour, I added some green onion to the balls themselves.

You definitely need a great gravy or sauce to dip your beef and cheesy bite! If you don’t have a recipe for a sauce, check out the sauce for my poutine here; check out the gravy for my turkey and waffles here; check out my bone broth recipe here!

I hope you have great success with the dishes you make for the upcoming Super Bowl or any other family get-together you may have coming up. As always, thanks for Spending Time in My Kitchen!
