Let’s make some bread! I have started a new journey. I have never been a baker other than making some Thanksgiving Stuffing, Creme Brulee, or maybe a Souffle now and then. Yes, I know…I know… my pumpkin stuffing requires me to make pumpkin bread. But pumpkin bread is a quick bread and is not hard to make. Now I need to understand hydration levels, how to make a sourdough starter, the different methods of strengthening dough to develop gluten, and a whole lot more. Nancy is a big fan of sourdough bread and I love my sandwiches, so why not make homemade bread that will taste better than any storebought bread?

Keep your eyes open for my new recipes for making focaccia and sourdough.

And for making my focaccia!

Both my breads looked and tasted great. Can I improve on them? Oh yeah! So much more to learn and to improve on.
Let me know in the comments below any hints you have in making bread. I have researched a lot, but I would love to hear your thoughts! As always, thanks for Spending Time in My Kitchen!
