It’s Time to Pull Out the Family Recipes for the Perfect Thanksgiving Dinner!

Everyone has their Family recipes that have to be served every Thanksgiving. I know that I have certain special dishes that I have to bring to Thanksgiving or else! I am not sure what that “or else” exactly means, but I don’t want to find out! So today I am going to show you some of the recipes that my family has enjoyed. Let me know what you think in the comments area below!

Stuffing Recipes

My Pumpkin Bread Sausage Wild Mushroom Stuffing is always a favorite. Make it as a stuffing or as a dressing. It is great either way! I tend to use the term stuffing whether it is “stuffed” in the turkey to cook or whether it is “cooked” in a roasting pan in the oven. My recipe describes the process of cooking in the oven. Check out my recipe here!

My pumpkin bread, sausage, wild mushroom stuffing…all ready for some gravy!

I try to always have leftover stuffing. That means the next day will be a Pumpkin Bread, Sausage Wild Mushroom, Stuffing Waffle with Leftover Turkey and Gravy. It is sooo good! Check out my recipe here!

Using leftover stuffing in making waffles. Nothing better than turkey and waffles the next day!

Butternut Squash Pumpkin Soup

Another one of my specialties is my Butternut Squash-Pumpkin Soup. This dish is great for starting off your Thanksgiving Day Meal. It’s not unusual for many in the family to have more than one bowl of soup. It’s that good! Check here for my recipe for Butternut Squash-Pumpkin Soup. Start the soup off by slow roasting the butternut squash to develop lots of flavors. Add some pumpkin purée and some Fall spices to bring more complexity to the soup. You will love it!

Brie Orange Cranberry Bites

If you are looking for the perfect appetizer, look no further! Brie Orange Cranberry Bites are the perfect starter! Check here for my recipe. This recipe has a little sweetness and sourness that will get your tastebuds ready for your turkey and gravy main course.

Pumpkin Soufflé

When talking about all the dishes for the perfect Thanksgiving meal, many of you out there don’t care about the turkey, the stuffing, or basically anything other than dessert. Am I right?? How about upping your game a little and going for my recipe for Pumpkin Soufflés instead of the typical Pumpkin or Apple Pie. The souffle is not as difficult as you might think and so very worth it!
